The best place in Barcelona for Tapas, 4th generation family owned business, 20 steps from Placa Reial. Service is wonderful and friendly, soundtrack is the best… the food my gosh is so tasty. I had the duck, chicken, pork. Everyone should visit. Atmosphere is great. You can’t book, you just have to hope for a table. Go early!!!!! I had to go two nights in a row.

Friends, the place is very beautiful, the food is so-so, an acquired taste, but I don't understand the line to get in. We waited about an hour, they initially told us 15-20 minutes, but that wasn't true! I just wanted to try the appetizers! But I'm not crazy about them! If you see a line to get in, don't wait, there are plenty of similar places nearby!

One of our favourite places to eat in Barcelona for traditional tapas. The restaurant is small so expect a wait but it is so worth it. The waitress served us drinks as we stood outside in the line. The food was excellent, fresh and quick. The ambiance was great and we can’t wait to visit again.

Delicious Tapas, Great Drinks, and amazing atmosphere. In a city with many great restaurants this one stands out. Its small and intimate so get there early or expect a wait to get in - BUT- its 100% worth the wait. I'll definitely be coming back.

The place is not very large with bar seating and a tables for two all along the sides. The place is not very big but it’s still comfortable and cozy. The staff were amazing and very attentive to our every need. My wife and I ordered the chef selection menu which consists of 6 tapas as selected by the chef including starters and two shots to end the meal. There’s also an option for 8 tapas but my wife and I weren’t that hungry at the time. Everything was prepared with care and the variety of food was amazing. Everything had its own unique flavor and was prepared to perfection. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to check it out.

I had the best meal of my entire Barcelona trip at Bodega Olivia. Every single bite was incredibly flavorful and downright delicious. If you only have time for one meal in Barcelona, make it this place — it’s an absolute must! The staff were wonderful, welcoming, and truly hospitable. We ordered the 8 surprise tapas with drinks, and I was honestly speechless with the taste and creativity of each dish. It turned into an unforgettable night that I’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly, highly recommended! 🌟

We arrived on a Saturday around 6:30 pm and there was no queue. The team is very friendly and welcoming. They took time to explain to us some of the tapas and asked us about what we like or not before ordering. We loved all their tapas and the atmosphere of the place. We will come back again for sure once in Barcelona !

I arrived at the restaurant at around 7:15pm and got my seat at the bar table 25-30 minutes later. It wasn’t a long wait. The staff were very nice, cheerful and helpful. It’s great to have small plate Iberian ham which was optimal for 1 person. I highly recommend this place!

Here is an absolute gem in Barcelona and hands down one of the best food experiences we had in the city. The sangria was perfectly balanced—fresh, fruity, and dangerously drinkable. The food is where this place truly shines. The garlic prawn were sizzling, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the eggplant with goat cheese was rich, creamy, and beautifully balanced. One of the most memorable dishes was the cod fish with honey—sweet, delicate, and cooked to perfection. The turnip and pork dish was comforting and deeply flavorful, and the lentils with sausage tasted like pure homemade Spanish comfort food. Every plate felt authentic, thoughtfully prepared, and full of soul. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and food that makes you want to come back again and again. If you’re looking for a true bodega experience with incredible traditional dishes, this place is a must-visit.
